Everything was perfect! This restaurant has a lovely interior and vibe. It's always good to have a line on a Saturday evening, and the service workers are so communicative. They take the time to check in with the patrons waiting in line. When we were sat down after a 10 minute wait, immediately we were served a small dish of complimentary tempura green beans. I'm not sure if this is customary or to thank us for our patience, but the gesture was very appreciated. It was pleasantly surprising to see that though the prices were around 20 dollars for the dinner combination bentos, the portions were large. For chicken teriyaki and sashimi, I was treated to a heaping hot plate of chicken, and I was given a nice portion of 6 sashimi pieces (tuna and salmon). It's not particularly groundbreaking, but it's rare for me to enjoy the portions of a meal this much. The service staff were super friendly and nice to us, refilling our water and checking in the perfect amount of times. The complimentary dessert (a strangely cut pineapple slice) topped it all off to make a satisfying dining experience.

One of my friends favorites for neighborhood sushi. Stopped in for lunch today to check it out for a second time. Food is more like three stars, but the service and value add another star. I didn't feel like the fish on my roll was the freshest, but the portions are generous and the service is some of the best you'll find anywhere.

Great spot for decent sushi at what I consider great prices as well. Not too sure if it's just because Fremont is less expensive when comparing to SJ/PA/MV area. Price/Sizing 4.5/5 - Rolls are decently priced at around ~14-20 but the plus mainly comes from them being pretty huge rolls with decent quantity. A lot of places tend to either downsize the rolls or the amount you get, but that was not an issue here. Bentos as well are nicely sized for what I consider fair prices. Service 5/5 - On point, Waitress was mostly at the front where she can see most of the tables and was able to monitor if any tables needed anything. Did not have any issues getting any water refills/help as needed. Flavor wise 4.5/5 - Didn't have any complaints in terms of freshness or taste profiles. Maybe did not entirely enjoy a roll we picked out but that's more of a problem with me than them. Chicken Teriyaki bento was juicy throughout, which I think can be a problem at some places when they overcook it and it becomes dry, but tempura was probably the only issue I had, as it seemed kind of so-so/average. Otherwise, location is great, plenty of parking and not to far off from dessert options.

The tempura batter was too thick and not tasty. The eel sushi is great. Salmon tasted not 100% fresh.

I've been going to Mioki for at least over 7 years now so this is a review that's been a long time coming! I'm not exaggerating when I say this, but every single time I've been here it's been a great experience. Yes at times when there's lunch/dinner rush there can be a wait, but their service is always 5 stars and the ambiance is cozy and clean. Now let's talk about the most important thing -- the food. The quality of the fish here is always fresh, haven't had anything bad to say. One of my favorites here is their sake lover, sake don, and honestly you can't go wrong with any of their rolls. Last week I went with my girlfriends and as usual their staff were so sweet & made us feel special. For appetizer we got hamachi collar, edemame and they gave us a free sake collar. For rolls: we got lion king, volcano, dragon and disco(?) roll. Oh and we got toro nigiri's they gave us one extra! Literally so nice of them. All the food were yummy & no complaints whatsoever! Highly recommend!!

We did take out for the family bc our go to sushi spot has closed for good but I used to come here for the green dragon roll during my lunch when I worked in this plaza so I trusted it! The email said it would be ready 7:51 but it did take an extra few minutes (no biggie it was a big order). The inside is as you would expect a sushi spot but the seats are pretty close together so it's not super spacious. The food review TLDR it's good but not amazing but it's also kinda pricey. To be fully transparent we ordered 11 rolls, 2 nigiri, one salmon bento all for a total of $220. I think the price is steep but I know inflation is hurting us all but still hard to pay that much for good but not mind blowing sushi. The salmon nigiri was not one my partner and I would get again it was just okay. Same with the spicy rainbow, new Alaska, and golden gate. That said we LOVED the following rolls: Crunchy rainbow Mission Hill Green dragon Hawaii London Mountain

This place really is a wonderful deal! The food was also prepared so fresh, I couldn't believe how tasty everything was. I think I was just in awe of how much came with the Bento Deluxe Dinner, and it was. Only $24! I could easily have broken it down into 3 meals! I wanted a roll that had some variety to it, and the RD Roll really was quite tasty. If you have kids who love sushi, this is a great spot to bring them. You know you will be fed and definitely won't break the bank, either. Honestly, there was so much food, I didn't even notice that miso soup isn't given with take out orders! And I usually pay attention to those things. But I have yummy leftovers for days.

Mioki, from now on for me, shall be called Mi-roll-ki. Their rolls are beautiful, delicious, and filling. Came here for dinner on a weeknight and the service was phenomenal! Despite the crowds, we were able to get seated rather quickly (maybe around 5 minutes) - we may have gotten lucky with the timing as the first wave was just wrapping up. Upon getting our seats, we were offered water with ice or no ice, lemon or no lemon. It was a nice touch to have that option as a patron. We knew we were going to get some rolls to share but were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary dish of tempera green beans shortly after we were seated. The green beans tasted fresh and had a nice crisp to it but not overly breaded. The dipping sauce to me wasn't necessary but did had a bit of flavor to the bite. Great way to get in your vegetables for the meal! Upon checking in on Yelp, we also received and used the check in offer for an appetizer size of gyoza. These came out piping hot, crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. It paired well with the dipping sauce. For rolls, we ordered the Cherry Blossom roll as it's our favorite and Mioki does an amazing job with it. Meaty bites and constructed aesthetically to make your mouth water and yummy grumbling. We also ordered the New Alaska roll, which was a new flavor profile for us. It is packed with smoked salmon and fresh salmon topped with a small slice of lemon. It was very tasty! To round off, we also got a TSY (short for Tuna, Salmon, Yellowtail) roll and it had five huge pieces. Each piece was loaded with fish and had a lot of substance with each bite. It's in the pricier end for the number of pieces you get but due to each piece's massive size, it seems fair. And to end our service, we were served a pineapple slice nicely cut into small bite sized morsels we could pick out with toothpicks. Healthy and delicious dessert! The rolls are consistently the best off their menu and with the amazing service exhibited this most recent visit, they're definitely among the top of my sushi list in this area!

This hole in the wall sushi place is a real hidden gem. I've been coming here for years because their fish is fresh and rolls are delicious. It may not be getting any Michelin stars soon, but the value is unbeatable. Each roll is massive and they give you so much fish. I never walk out of here hungry, which is something finer sushi places tend to make me feel. Or maybe I'm just getting fat! I've tried a lot of what they have and I highly recommend the crazy roll, spicy rainbow and double rainbow. This really maximizes how much fresh fish you get. The sauces work really well together too. The only downside to this place is their inconsistency. When they're busy, the quality of their rolls are noticeably worse. Sometimes they put too much rice or cut it too thick. This is my go to sushi place in the East Bay. It won't impress any dates but it'll always hit the spot.

Amazing place to grab good sushi!!! Just look at how THICK those sashimi slices are! We got four rolls and I loved all of them. Don't be afraid of trying the cream cheese ones. The raw fish was so fresh too. The right most was my favourite (I forgot the name but it had spicy tuna). Alongside that, the service was amazing. We actually got a couple freebies, not really sure why but the waitress was very very nice to us. This place is so underrated. It really is incredible value and I'll be coming back soon
